We are anxiously awaiting our departure date for two whole weeks of vacation. I tend to get overly eager and start planning outfits, groceries, what to pack and music for the road, weeks in advance.
So, this past weekend we hit up the local Old Navy for cheap-o summer sales. I don’t know what it is about the Old Navy here, but they have most amazing sale section (maybe it is because we live in a small town and I’m used to the one in DC). I scored a bunch of cool chunky bracelets to wear at the beach, some white linen pants and a lovely madras shirt (not patchwork!). James had some luck too and bought a pair of handsome shorts and solid colored T’s. Now all we need is some sunscreen that won’t harm, our books, some magazines and lots of time in the car…
Another find is a drink I had last evening at a happy hour. It was decided that this will be the drink of Fishwick Vacation 2010:
